Anon. Pair of color woodcut posters. This pair is archeologically early in the history of film. The first shows a female drum major, with the text, "The Leader of Them All - Moving Pictures Always Something New". The companion image advertises the Pastime Moving Picture show, "The Moving Pictures Are Given With the Latest Edison Fireproof Kinescope - The Motion Picture Subjects Have Been Selected With the View to Giving an Interesting and Amusing Entertainment. Don't Fail to See the Great Fight Picture…" and shows a delightful image of two bathing beauties on a sea swept rock in front of Atlantic City-like resort. WAS 1000.00 |
