Sailor pauses to think holding up string around his finger right in front of doorway with sign "Pro Station" (for prophylactic). On the reverse is an inked letter, written in a large hand, from an enlisted man in San Diego to a friend in August, 1944, wherein he gives this poster as a gift. Writing does not show through. A classic anti-venerial disease/ medical item. (health/ sex) |
