[THE SHOP OF NEW THINGS] Lunois (1863 - 1916) was a well known Parisian Impressionist painter and lithographer at the Turn of the Century, and the inventor of “Wash Lithography”, using tusch directly onto the litho stones to achive a loose, dream-like effect, This litho shows a panorama of upper class women appearing nearly stunned by the opulent surroundings of a then new concept of ‘Grand Magasin” - the department store. This print was sold by the famous Eduard Sagot, and was done on arches paper. A real bargain! Was 685.00
