Hepworth Films, Jack Hulcup and Violet Hopson. This adventure film was certainly one of the earliest known to use the airplane - in this case a Wright -type Pusher - as a plot device. Cecil Hepworth was the most significant early film producer and director in England during the birth of the Silent Era. A pair of villains tear down a dirt road in an open touring car, one of them firing a pistol at the Wright aeroplane. |
