New York Motion Picture Co. Presents a Kay-Bee Film. A dramatic rendering depicting the "Defending the Camp from Indians", of a wagon train attack firefight. At the lower section is an image of an overturned stagecoach, victim, and forlorn cavalrymen with the caption, "Too Late". Kay-Bee Films was owned by film pioneers Harry Aitken and John Freuler who started their efforts in 1906 in Milwaukee, and went on to promote, found, and discover everything from Universal Studios to Charlie Chaplin to Birth of a Nation. This two reeler is an early cowboy epic, certainly lost. I believe this is American, though no printer is noted. Early. |
